Rebecca Miller, the owner of Peggy Jean's Pies, her mother Jeanne Plumley and her daughter Ellery Miller presented several family recipes to a table of judges. The host of the show, Buddy Valastro, is famously known for the show "Cake Boss" where he provided an inside look at his family's cake shop.

Chad Rose, an associate professor in the MU Department of Special Education and the director of the Mizzou Ed Bully Prevention Lab, is leading a team of scientists to investigate how to reduce bullying in schools. The team has received two grants at $4 million each from the U.S. Department of Education to further their research.

Loss and grief are natural parts of living. And, for many people, that happens after the death of a beloved pet. Jeff and Jennifer Clouse got their dog Raisin, a black Labrador mix, in 2011. Clouse says they named her Raisin because as a puppy she had distinct brown eyelids and black eyes that together looked like raisins. Then, nearly 13 years later, Raisin died after a her struggle with abdominal cancer.
