IntroductionSmall for gestational age (SGA) and large for gestational age (LGA) are defined as birth weight <10th and >90th centiles, respectively, with reference to population-based birth weight at the same gestational age and sex.1 SGA and LGA are common risk factors of perinatal mortality and various morbidities from birth to adulthood.
