On November 14th, President-elect Donald Trump announced his nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a prominent anti-vaccine activist with a 40-year history of promoting pseudoscience and conspiracy theories, to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). As someone who has spent over 12 years in public health and nearly a decade in healthcare, I can hardly imagine a worse choice for this position.
