    1. IntroductionSpatial data conflation is the process of combining two maps to produce an improved map. It involves matching the geospatial features in two map datasets that represent the same objects in reality and possibly merging their attributes and geometries. Conflation is needed in many geospatial analytical tasks, including transportation research.

    The 21st and final stage of the Giro d’Italia through Rome has finished and thanks to no mayor surprises, injuries or falls it led to a historic moment with Slovenian cyclist Primož Rogljič stepping on the highest step of the winning podium. The 33-year old is namely the first Slovenian to win the prestigious Giro d’Italia and he did so even with some mechanical issues at yesterday’s decisive stage.

    In a brief video statement Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon said that Slovenia supports all efforts that put into practice the fundamental values of the Council of Europe. The Council of Europe was founded 75 years ago and Slovenia joined it a year after declaring independence in 1991. This was one of the key steps in the process of gaining international recognition, which helped the country in it's ambitions and achieving EU membership.
