I mentioned in my bullets on Friday morning that there’s a lot of smoke around the trade market for Minnesota Wild center Marco Rossi — smoke that recently included reported interest from the Blackhawks. Which got me thinking about Frank Nazar‘s next contract. Rossi is a very good player, and it’s easy to watch him play and think about Nazar. They’re both more than a haircut away from being 6’0″ tall and, thus far, have primarily played center in the NHL.

The Blackhawks officially, formally introduced new head coach Jeff Blashill on Tuesday morning at the United Center. The presser aired live on the Blackhawks’ YouTube channel and CHSN. If you missed it, I have embedded the video at the bottom of this post. First, a quick bit of housekeeping.
