Anyone who watches television has probably seen the Pfizer commercial with the tagline, “If it’s COVID, Paxlovid.” That might be a catchy slogan, but, apparently, a lot of people aren’t getting the message. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Paxlovid last May for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 in adults who are at risk of progression to severe disease.
