Reverse grid pole sitter Pezzini was slow off the blocks, with Luís Ramírez and Genaro Rasetto taking the top two places.

Peugeot driver Pedro Cardoso won the first race of the weekend at Termas de Río Hondo, host of the fourth round of the 2025 TCR South America season, after an intense battle with Honda’s Nelson Piquet Jr.Clear but very cold conditions welcomed the TCR South America field, with just six degrees Celcius air temperature at the start of the race. Cupra driver Fabricio Pezzini came into the pit lane at the end of the formation lap with technical issues.

Honda driver Nelson Piquet Jr. claimed a last-minute pole position at Termas de Rio Hondo, host of the fourth round of the 2025 TCR South America season, ahead of his team-mate Leonel Pernía. The entire field struggled to get the tyres into temperature due to the cooler conditions during the qualifying session, with half of the Q1 gone for the drivers to break the 1:48 barrier and get into pole position lap times.

W2 Pro GP driver Fabricio Pezzini dominated the second race at San Juan Villicum, host of the third round of the 2025 TCR South America season, to take his second victory of 2025. Pezzini started from the reversed grid pole position, but would lose under braking to Turn 1, with Lynk & Co’s Juan Angel Rosso taking the lead ahead of the Cupra driver, with Mariano Pernía (Honda) following close behind in third place.

Honda Racing YPF driver Leonel Pernía dominated Race 1 at San Juan Villicum to claim his third victory of the 2025 TCR South America season. Leonel Pernía took the lead from the pole position at the start as his team-mate Nelson Piquet Jr got a slow start, losing several positions. Honda driver Tiago Pernía stalled and unable to restart his car, prompting a safety car intervention.
