Luis Ramírez led from the reverse grid pole position at the start, but would soon lose to Pezzini, with Mariano Pernía and Raphael Reis mounting the pressure on the Panamean. Mariano Pernía overtook for second place as Pezzini built a three-second gap at the front.

ALM Motorsport’s Sten-Dorian Piirimagi clinched his first victory in TCR in Sunday’s Race 2 at Motorland, host of the second round of the 2025 TCR Spain season. Auto Club RC2 Vallés’ Víctor Fernández was stuck at the start, being narrowly avoided by the rest of the field, with Piirimagi taking the lead at Turn 1 after contact with Guillaume Savoldelli, followed by Honda pair Felipe Fernández and Michael Markussen.

Leonel Pernía scored victory in Sunday’s Race 1 at Rosario, host of the first round of the 2025 TCR South America season, after a long battle with his team-mate Nelson Piquet Jr.Polesitting Honda driver Tiago Pernía with team-mates Leonel Pernía and Piquet Jr. overtaking for the lead and going three-wide with Peugeot driver Pedro Cardoso at the start. Leonel Pernía took the lead ahead of Cardoso and Piquet, with Tiago Pernía in fourth place.

TPR Motorsport driver Mike Halder claimed the victory in the first race of the day at Motorland Aragón, host of the second round of the 2025 TCR Spain season, after a race marked by the track limits penalties. Sunny skies and dry conditions welcomed the TCR Spain field for the first race of the day, albeit with the concern for the strong cross winds at Motorland.

Honda YPF Racing driver Tiago Pernía scored a close first pole postiion at Rosario, host of the first round of the 2025 TCR South America season. Pedro Cardoso of PMO Racing was the first pace setter in the session, but would be soon beaten by Honda YPF Racing’s Nelson Piquet Jr. (Honda). His team-mate Leonel Pernía rose to the top with ten minutes to go in the Q1. Tiago Pernía, Leonel’s son, sat in fourth place, followed by W2 Pro GP’s Raphael Reis (Cupra).
