The Brazilian women's national team announced its latest roster for the upcoming FIFA window, and the legendary Marta, who last year declared her retirement from international football, made the cut. The 39-year-old will join fellow NWSL stars, current and former, like Debinha, Kerolin, Lorena, Angelina, and Tarciane as the Seleçao take on Japan and Jamaica, twice each, later this month and in early June for friendlies in Brazil.

Alex Morgan is now a minority investor in the San Diego Wave FC, the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club announced Tuesday. The news comes eight months after Morgan, a two-time World Cup champion, Olympic gold medalist and former Wave captain, announced that she was retiring and pregnant with her second child. Morgan played her last game for the Wave on Sept. 8 and announced the birth of her newborn, Enzo, on March 31.

The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) disciplinary committee on Monday handed down two additional sanctions to a player and coach who were each found to have violated league rules beyond its initial judgements. In a statement, the NWSL gave Racing Louisville and Brazilian women’s national team forward Ary Borges a further three-match suspension upon further review of her behavior toward a referee after she was given a red card.
