My already high expectations were surpassed and then some during a profound and transformative visit to the rugged and beautiful state of Utah. I had seen the incredible pictures and the fabulous Instagram posts. But witnessing the real thing was like walking onto a movie set. While in Utah, I was captivated by the ever-changing colours of the red rock formations, the jagged cliffs, hoodoos standing like ancient sentinels, and sweeping vistas that stretched out before me like a masterpiece.

Baja California served as a stunning backdrop for the 49th edition of Tianguis Turístico, Mexico’s premier tourism industry event, held from 28APR to 01MAY,  2025. The event brought together representatives from all 32 Mexican states, underscoring the country's rich and diverse travel offerings. This year’s Tianguis welcomed 8,781 attendees, including 1,773 buyers, 3,957 exhibitors, and 307 media representatives from both national and international outlets.

Even a short trip to this mesmerizing city made it evident that Tokyo is a must-visit offering enough to discover to justify many return flights. Tokyo, a vibrant blend of history and innovation, stands as a unique metropolis where the old harmonizes flawlessly with the new. As first-time travellers to Asia, we braced ourselves for sensory overload, yet Tokyo surpassed all expectations. Our time in the city was full of wonder and discovery despite our limited time.

A beautiful slice of French-Caribbean paradise that epitomizes a happy vacation. I tend to think of myself as somewhat of an authority when it comes to all-inclusive resorts but in over 30 years in the travel industry, I’ve never stayed at a Club Med. That’s not to say I wasn’t aware of the brand. In the early years of my career, all-inclusive resorts all seemed to emulate the pioneering concepts introduced by Club Med over 73 years ago.

Fairmont Mayakoba holds a special place in our family’s heart since our initial discovery a few years ago.
