I’m going to talk about food today — I apologize in advance if you have not yet eaten breakfast. A little more than a year ago, I started a new hobby that has been around for thousands of years. Everyone else was doing it so I thought I’d give it a try. I am writing this as my eyes roll into the back of my head with delight after each bite I take of toasted spinach/artichoke sourdough bread — dotted with baked-in cream cheese chunks, spinach and artichoke tidbits, and Parmesan cheese baked on top.

In this 51-year-old color photo is a man, off to the side, wearing in a yellow dress shirt and tie. His name was Elvin E.

Spring is definitely living up to its name this year, bouncing all across the weather gamut. Earlier this week, it was warm and sunny, followed by wind, followed by dark and gloomy, followed by rain, followed by chilly, followed by … you’re following me, right? The weather may be unpredictable, but thankfully we can plan on a 100% chance of a “Sonrise” on Sunday morning.
