NY1’s “Finding Home” segment features animals up for adoption within the five boroughs. The ASPCA has shared a photo of a 2-year-old dog named Desi. The nonprofit says Desi has a personality that’s larger than life. He loves being around people, almost as much as his ball and squeaky toys. Each week, NY1 partners with the ASPCA and the Animal Care Centers of NYC for our “Finding Home” segment. It features animals up for adoption.  This week the ACC introduces us to Puck, a petite girl who weighs under 10 pounds.  Puck is 1 year old, and came into the center as a stray. She loves her toys. Also featured this week is 10 year old Butterbean. A shy and sensitive cat, handlers say she warms up quickly when treats are involved.

NY1 has partnered with the Animal Care Centers of NYC this week for our “Finding Home” series.  The series features animals that are up for adoption within the five boroughs. This week, 4-year-old dog, Twinkie is looking for a new home after he was found wandering the streets of Staten Island. The sweet pup is a bit on the shy side. While he takes a little time to warm up, he loves to be around people who have treats. Also, up for adoption is this 8-week-old kitten named Denali.
