    On April 16, the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) announced the addition of yet another fantastic facility to its portfolio with the purchase of Milan Dragway. The Milan Dragway, a quarter-mile Michigan track located 40 miles west of Detroit and 25 miles south of Ann Arbor, is rich with drag racing history. The facility opened in 1964 and has been host to IHRA national events like the Motor City Nationals and Northern Nationals as well as IHRA Pro-Am events.

    The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), the second-largest drag-racing sanctioning body, recently announced the purchase of the historic National Trail Raceway. This news comes just weeks after the IHRA finalized the purchase of the GALOT Motorsports Park located in Benson, North Carolina. The National Trail Raceway, founded by entertainment entrepreneur Clark Rader, Sr., along with his sons Ben and Clark, Jr., first opened on July 4, 1964.
