By Tara Murray It was a matter of just getting the job done for the City West Falcons on Wednesday night in the Victorian Netball League. While it was a battle between top and bottom against the Peninsula Waves, the Falcons had their challenges. Illness had gone through the side with Sussu Liai missing the game and Maggie Lind again played limited minutes for a third straight week. It mattered little as the Falcons won, 75-51. Falcons coach Marg Lind was pretty happy with the result.

By Tara Murray The Western Warriors showed plenty of resolve on Wednesday night to come away with their fourth win of the Victorian Netball League season. The Warriors, who were disappointing the week before against the Wilson Storage Southern Saints, bounced back with a hard fought win against the Geelong Cougars. The Warriors led throughout the clash, but the Cougars stuck close all night and made them fight for the 60-57.
