    INZAI CITY, Japan (AP) — Taylor Moore shot a 7-under 63 on Thursday to lead by one shot after the first round of the Zozo Championship, the only PGA Tour event in Japan. Max Greyserman, Nico Echavarria and Eric Cole were a shot behind after rounds of 64 at the Narashino Country Club. Two players from Taiwan — C.T. Pan and Kevin Yu — were two back after 65s. Moore had an eagle on the 562-yard 18th — his ninth hole of the round — when he chipped in just over 100 feet.

Residents enjoyed rich pours of red and white wines, as well as delicious foods from more than 30 local businesses in downtown La Verne. Guests were given a commemorative wine glass, 12 wine pours and unlimited tastings from the various food vendors collaborating with Old Town’s small businesses. The city came alive with live music from eight different cover brands throughout the wine walk.

This puts the publication in the highest tier for college news outlets across the United States, once again. The Columbia Journalism School-based organization announced the honor last week. This year’s win marks 19 such Gold Medal wins for the Campus Times during the past 23 years.
