    ROGUE RIVER, Ore. – Kids and teens in Rogue River will soon have more access to medical and mental health services. Thanks to a partnership between La Clinica and the Rogue River School District a new health center is set to open inside the district’s Early Learning Center this fall. Starting in September, the La Clinica Rogue River Health Center will serve youth ages 2 to 18. The Early Learning Center, located at 225 Oak Street, is currently under construction.

    COOS BAY, Ore. — A Marshfield High School student just broke a decades-old record held by one of Oregon’s most legendary runners. Last week, Bodey Lutes made history by running the 800 meters in 1 minute and 53 seconds—surpassing the long-standing school record of 1:53.8, previously set by Olympic great Steve Prefontaine. Marshfield High, located in Coos Bay, is the hometown school of Prefontaine, whose legacy continues to inspire runners across the country.
