The Financial Times Group has made undisclosed amount in The Logic Inc. As part of financing, Alexandra Calinikos from FT Ventures, has joined The Logic board of directors. FT Ventures joins Postmedia Network and Lessin Media Company as corporate shareholders. The Logic Inc. is founded and led by David Skok. The Financial Times Group launched FT Ventures in February 2024, a new corporate venture arm to invest in high-growth innovative companies operating in the global information industry.

Genesys Capital Management Inc., a Toronto based life science focused venture capital firm, has made its first (disclosed) investment out of its fourth fund. Genesys Capital has led a new $[Premium Contents, please Log In or Subscribe] million financing in Feldan Bio. Existing investors, Investissement Québec, Fonds de solidarité FTQ and AQC Capital also participated in the financing. Launched in August 2023, Genesys Capital has yet to make any announcement of the initial close of the fund.
