New Delhi: A rare copy of the United States Constitution, printed after the 1787 Constitutional Convention, has sold for more than $11 million during a live auction in Asheville, North Carolina, on Thursday evening. The auction, conducted by Brunk Auctions, ended with a final bid of $9 million, excluding a 23 per cent buyer's premium and undisclosed taxes.

Israel: Israeli delegations taking part in the major Euronaval defence show in France next month will not be permitted to set up any stand or exhibit hardware following a decision by the French government, organisers said on Wednesday. The decision comes as tensions are rising between Israel and France following comments by President Emmanuel Macron criticising the civilian casualties in the Israeli campaigns against Shiite group Hezbollah in Lebanon and Palestinian group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Moscow: Russia on Wednesday denounced a "victory plan" presented by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, saying he was trying to push NATO into a direct conflict with Moscow. In his speech, Zelensky called on his allies to take urgent steps to bolster Kyiv at a precarious moment in a bid to end the conflict with Russia next year. According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP), the woman, identified by her surname Sung, allegedly killed a toddler after repeatedly abusing him for a week. She was previously a parenting expert with nearly 9,000 followers on Facebook.
