Study design and participantsParticipants for this analysis were drawn from the ongoing longitudinal Childhood Determinants of Adult Health (CDAH) study. A prospective cohort of Australian adults spanning over 30 years, the CDAH study is a continuation of the 1985 Australian Schools Health and Fitness Survey (ASHFS). Procedures describing the selection of participants at baseline have been outlined in detail elsewhere [18].

The contingent of NZ residents living in Australia will be eligible to become Australian citizens in July following sweeping changes unveiled by Anthony Albanese. “This is the biggest improvement in the rights of New Zealanders living in Australia in a generation,” Mr Hipkins said.
