Palmer Trinity School hosted the 19th Florida Statewide Chinese Competition, organized by the Florida Chinese Teachers Association on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1. Over the course of the two days, the event welcomed 300 guests from 12 schools. This immersive event featured cultural displays, language and academic competitions, and engaging activities that celebrate Chinese heritage and promote cross-cultural understanding.
PTS’s inaugural concert on newly installed organ at Trinity Chapel

Internationally renowned organist and conductor James O’Donnell performed the Inaugural Concert of Palmer Trinity School’s new pipe organ at Trinity Chapel on Sunday, Mar. 9. The instrument, built by Casavant Frères of Quebec, Canada, was completed in November 2024 and is the only one of its kind in Southeast Florida. O’Donnell currently is a professor of organ at Yale University but previously served a 23-year tenure as organist and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey.

Palmer Trinity School (PTS) student, Katerina “Kati” Morin (Class of 2026), has been announced as a 2025 YoungArts award winner in the Theater/Musical category. Morin is among 800 of the most accomplished young artists ages 15-18 or in grades 10-12 to be selected from some 11,000 applicants. YoungArts award winners are presented with a cash prize of $250.

Palmer Trinity School (PTS), on Dec. 12, 2024, celebrated the installation of The Rev. Sandra Curtis as chaplain and the dedication of the newly installed Casavant Frères Organ at Trinity Chapel. The ceremony was led by the bishop of Southeast Florida, The Right Rev. Peter Eaton, and Patrick Roberts, head of school. “It was a day of celebration of faith, music and community,” Roberts said.

Since 2020, the Belen Jesuit Preparatory School Wolverine Village has been bringing Christmas cheer to children with special needs. Palmer Trinity School (PTS), in partnership with the Village of Palmetto Bay, on Monday, Nov. 11, honored local veterans from Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay for the 10th year in a row. Veterans and their families joined a special assembly and convocation featuring guest speakers, music, prayers and a presentation by the Miami-Dade Police Color Guard. The event was followed by breakfast. “We were privileged to honor those who have so valiantly served our country,” said Patrick Roberts, head of school.
