1 INTRODUCTION Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (e.g., intellectual disability, autism) often struggle with mental health problems (Mannion et al., 2014; Witwer & Lecavalier, 2008). Many also experience significant and pervasive support needs across life domains (Thompson et al., 2009), including health, education, and community involvement (Shogren et al., 2017).
