Navaya scored on the 52nd minute, to power The Wifi Boys to their second win of the season at home. The Gweru-based side have now collected seven points in four matches, with two wins over Triangle United and Caps United.

    TELONE FC have completed the signing of defence stalwart Frank Makarati from Premier Soccer League giants, Dynamos. Makarati who was the team's captain, is one of several players leaving Dynamos ahead of the opening of the 2025 premier soccer season. He joins Donald Mudadi, Tanaka Shandirwa, Emmanuel Ziocha, Emmanuel Jalai, Emmanuel Paga,Sadney Urikhob and Issah Sadiki who have left the club. The 30-year-old reunited with coach Herbert Maruwa at TelOne after they also worked together at DeMbare.

    Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has opened up on facing Al Ahly after securing a spot in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals. The Soweto giants secured their spot in the last eight of the competition after claiming a 2-1 win over CR Belouizdad at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday. Relebohile Mofokeng and Thalente Mbatha were on target for the home side. Abdelraouf Benguit scored the visitors’ consolation goal.

    Stellenbosch FC made history after booking a place in the CAF Confederation Cup last eight following a convincing win over Stade Malien on Sunday. They beat Stade Malien 2-0 in a match that was played at the Loftus Versfield Stadium. The win means they will receive US$550,000 [R10.5 million] from CAF for their progression. Two successive wins over Angola’s CD Lunda Sul put Steve Barker and his men in top contention for a quarterfinal place.
