Starred Review 2024 Sonderbooks Stand-out: #2 More Teen Fiction The Girl in Question is a sequel to the amazing thriller The Girls I've Been, and yes, it's a worthy successor. If you like thrillers even a little bit, pick these two up. I won't say too much about the plot, because I don't want to give away the twists from the first book.

    Before we get to the books themselves, can you define what you mean by thrillers, as opposed to mysteries or crime fiction? These categories are so blurred together. All the books I’ve recommended have really strong mystery elements, which I love in a book. I think mysteries tend to revolve around something that happened in the past, while thrillers are focused on something that’s going to happen in the future.
