With that in mind, next month the Vancouver International Film (VIFF) Centre is showing the fiery new documentary Incandescence, by local filmmakers Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper. Brace yourself for a screening. Filmed in the Okanagan region, Incandescence is all about fires, firefighting, their aftermath, and the people and animals who have experienced them first-hand.
