ResultsTen cultural brokers participated in interviews (table 1) and two brokers allowed researchers to observe their group-based parenting programmes. All study participants were women, reflecting the predominantly female membership of the MCHB cooperative. We identified six thematic domains (figure 1) that describe the role of cultural brokers in interaction with primary care for patients with diabetes and/or obesity from ethnocultural migrant communities.
