Billy Twelvetrees will come out of retirement to join the club in a player-coach role, as Warriors look to attack next season's expanded Champ Rugby and bid for promotion at the first time of asking. Having already been heavily tipped to join the side, the move will not come as a surprise to Warriors supporters. Twelvetrees hung up his boots following a stint with Ealing Trailfinders at the end of last season.

Isaac Mohammed has signed on with the club on a three-year contract. The 17-year-old comes from a rich cricketing background, being a relative of both Worcestershire and England legend Moeen Ali, and current Worcestershire assistant coach Kadeer Ali. Mohammed joins the side from Warwickshire's academy. The youngster has also been impressing for Smethwick in the Birmingham and District Premier League this season, averaging in excess of 50, with a top score of 125.

The side will play two League Two sides as they build up to their first season back at step three in the Southern League Premier Division Central, alongside step two neighbours Kidderminster Harriers. As reported by Worcester News in February, City will host Cheltenham Town in their first friendly match at Sixways Stadium. The match will kick off at 1:30pm on Saturday, July 5.
