Penn Democrats hosted 1984 Penn Carey Law graduate Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.) at its tabling event on Oct. 11. Jack Schlossberg, a Vogue political correspondent and the sole grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, visited Penn on Monday to urge students to register to vote and support Vice President Kamala Harris. Schlossberg met a crowd of about 50 Penn students in front of the ARCH on Locust Walk, where he took selfies and recorded videos for his social media pages while urging students to vote for Harris, the Democratic nominee for the presidency.

Penn Masala, the internationally renowned and University’s first South Asian a cappella group, performed at the Indian Olympic House last week in Paris. Penn Masala’s 13 performers, including recent graduates from the Class of 2024, performed two shows at the India House, Team India’s base for the 2024 Paris Olympics, on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4 to crowds of hundreds.
