In the second installment of Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke's lesbian B-movie trilogy, Margaret Qualley stars as the cool and stylish private eye, Honey O'Donahue, in Honey Don't! Based in a seedy, neo-Western Bakersfield, California, the film is a spiritual sequel to their first film, Drive-Away Dolls. Coen and Cooke's follow-up embraces the same vibes as its predecessor, and whether you like it or not will hinge on if you enjoy a manufactured B-movie style.

I don't exactly think high-action thriller when I hear the name Kelly Reichardt, and that's fine. The director is known for her slow films full of silent actors and quiet ambiance. However, when I heard that Reichardt decided to make a heist movie, and the film kicks off with some jazzy notes that depict Josh O'Connor casing his local art museum, I thought, "OK, change of pace!" Boy, was I wrong.

What would you do if your sister, whom you practically raised, suddenly stopped talking to you and moved to a bougie island to work for and live with a suspiciously rich housewife/aviary rescue philanthropist — who is also very likely a cult leader? That's the question that Meghann Fahy's Devon DeWitt has to answer when she ends up on a packed New England island, Edible Arrangement in hand, to confront her estranged sister Simone, played by Milly Alcock, in Sirens.

No matter where you come from or what kind of life you lead, chances are you have drama with your family. Daddy issues, mommy issues, general past trauma — it all comes part and parcel with being a part of a family. Joachim Trier's latest film, Sentimental Value (Affeksjonsverdi), tackles these elements when Stellan Skarsgård's Gustav Berg decides to direct a film after a 15-year hiatus and wants his estranged daughter Nora (Renate Reinsve) to star in it.

There's loving music and enjoying music, and then there's being able to taste sound and see colors in sound. That is how Paul Mescal's Lionel experiences music. It's more than just music to him, and when he meets Josh O'Connor's David at the Boston Music Conservatory in 1917 after he hears David singing a ballad that he used to sing back on his farm in Kentucky, the two automatically form a bond through music that lasts their lifetime.

The best part of Partir Un Jour was getting to see Quentin Tarantino do a mic drop in the opening ceremony, everything after that was... a pass for me.

Just finished up an exciting interview with Alexi Hawley for The Rookie episode this week and the finale! I asked him about potential storylines for Season 8, about some of the twists we get in the finale, and yes, about Chenford because I have to! https://t.co/rHR3uR6lTb
