One of our favorite summer dishes from Puglia is this grilled zucchini and feta salad from Masseria Calderisi. The food at the masseria was fantastic, and this fresh zucchini salad was served poolside at lunch— perfect for a hot day. With the perfect balance of saltiness from the feta and spice from the estate’s own peppers, this is a simple salad that you could serve as a side or eat as a meal.

1 When you come across really good lemons—the kind with bright yellow skins, maybe even still with a few leaves attached—you should do something special with them. This lemon posset recipe is exactly that. This is where Winston Churchill walked to his wartime office. It’s where British intelligence was born. And now, it’s where you can book a suite, take a swim, and sip a Vesper under a vintage Aston Martin in London. From the moment you walk in, you can’t help but be impressed.

3 We spent several weeks in Monte-Carlo last summer, close enough to Menton that a visit to Mauro Colagreco’s iconic Mirazur was within reach. Due to various scheduling constraints, it didn’t happen. Fast forward a few months—we had relocated to London, and while looking at houses and settling in, we finally booked in for dinner at his new Mauro Colagreco restaurant inside Raffles at The OWO. It opened in late 2023 and has already earned its first Michelin star.
