5. Experimental Results and DiscussionWe conducted comprehensive experiments to determine what happens to digital data sent through an indoor M-QAM-based SD-PLC system [31] when various types of noisy household electrical equipment are turned on and off at random intervals. As mentioned in the previous section, we examined two noise scenarios: one with weakly interrupted noise from a single household device and another with strongly interrupted noise from a combination of two household devices.
