    May 10-The Tri-County Athletic League championships were held at Jesse Bethel on Friday and many local student athletes did well. Current Times-Herald Athlete of the Week winner Kylan McNeal won the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.36 seconds. Ethan Santos of St. Pat's came in ninth place. McNeal also was part of the 4-by-100 relay team that took second place.The other members of the relay team consisted of Moses Belk, Jason Momom and Cameron Usher, who also did well individually.

Saturday featured a Mother’s Day theme, serving as a one-stop shop for gift ideas with approximately 50 vendors selling anything from art, flowers, T-shirts, candles and more. Alicia Lee and Daniella Antipuesto said they were helping out City of Fairfield employee and Founder of The Boss Con & Younger State of Mind, Taylor Garcia. Garcia has put on many events in Solano County.

Although American Canyon is the No. 14 seed in the North Coast Section Division II playoffs and Benicia is the No. 12 seed, both squads are having Cinderella-like postseason runs with each making the semifinals after wins on Thursday night. American Canyon defeated San Leandro in five games, winning 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 20-18.

American Canyon boys volleyball with another upset! The No. 14 seed has made it to the semifinals of the North Coast Section Division II playoffs by defeating San Leandro in five games. The Wolves will play at International High in San Francisco on Tuesday.
