The 6-foot-7 freshman showed some real promise in his first year, though he was not a full-time starter. Allen appeared in 26 games and did not start any of them. During that time, he averaged 2.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. He also contributed 0.5 assists and 0.3 steals per game. He did that on 9.2 minutes per contest.
