SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio -- To eliminate any lingering confusion about the city’s existing ban on short-term rentals of less than 30 days, council added it as a separate ordinance on Monday (June 23). Aside from the city’s zoning code, there is no direct ordinance declaring that short-term rentals are illegal, City Law Director William Ondrey Gruber noted.
