The new Memphis Brooks Museum of Art will be located on a Downtown bluff and is designed to connect the Mississippi River to one of the largest collections of world art in the South. Scheduled to open in late 2025, the museum’s new home will be on Front Street block between Union and Monroe Avenues. The projected cost of the new Brooks is more than $100 million and is part of a series of public-private investments, according to the museum.
