    The York Revolution’s first-place parade has been interrupted by rain on multiple occasions in recent weeks, but manager Rick Forney’s team has maintained its rhythm on the field. York entered this week with six wins in its last seven games, and after falling short in the resumption of a suspended contest against Southern Maryland on Monday afternoon, the Revs bounced back with a 5-3 victory to improve to 22-11 this season. They hold a five-game lead in the Atlantic League’s North Division.

    Seton Hill's Ian Korn has been named National Pitcher of the Year by two publications in recent days. York Suburban graduate Ian Korn didn’t just become the ace of the Seton Hill baseball team in 2025. The redshirt junior emerged as the best pitcher in all of NCAA Division II. Korn has received multiple National Pitcher of the Year honors in recent days, first from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) on May 21.

    Andrew Mott and Brayden Ecker were the last two York College athletes competing in the 2024-25 school year. The duo shined in the spotlight at last week’s NCAA Division III track and field championships, earning All-America honors in all three of their combined events. Mott won bronze in the men’s discus Thursday and fourth in the shot put Friday at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Ecker then landed on the All-America second team by finishing ninth in the men’s pole vault Saturday.

Kennard-Dale’s softball team is headed to the state semifinals for the first time ever. The Rams just picked up a 6-2 win over Blackhawk in a PIAA Class 4A quarterfinal game in Everett. They’ll take a 24-2 record into the season’s final week.
