    The Leaving Cert student who tragically died when her car entered a river in Tipperary last night has been named as Bronagh English. The 18 year-old girl from Clonmel died after her vehicle hit a wall and entered the River Aherlow, shortly after 10pm on Thursday at Kilaldry Bridge in Kilmoyler.

    A volunteer crew at Baltimore RNLI scrambled to find a missing fishing boat this afternoon - as members of the public stepped in to help. The Irish Coast Guard requested assistance from Baltimore RNLI at around 12:50pm after a 26-foot, one-man fishing boat was found to be overdue for its return to land. The Coast Guard tried getting in touch with the missing vessel - but heard nothing back.
