With the semi-finals (nearly) done and dusted, and the 2024 line-up (nearly) complete, the stage is set in Sweden, so what better time for Roobla to launch its first Eurovision feature in several years. Before we hand over to the Malmö Arena, here’s an irreverent A-Z of the world’s most wonderfully loopy singing competition. A is for Australia. This will be their ninth time in Europe’s premier talent show. It’s still not completely clear as to why, but who cares?

It’s been the best part of a year since yours truly discovered his hidden culture vulture during a Boxing Night performance of Tchaikovsky‘s The Nutcracker at the Hungarian Opera House. With Napoli firmly in my sights, what better country than Italy to take things a step further with a night at the opera? Now it was Puccini’s turn to dazzle with Madame Butterfly, and I could hardly wait.
