FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) - Saturday Crossover Outreach and Community Partners held an inaugural Hop-n-Hunt event!From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the community came out to Every Nation Church in Flint for a trunk-or-treat style egg hunt. Organizers say the aim was to provide a safe and welcoming space for kids to have fun and families to make memories. "During holidays it can be really stressful for families who are struggling financially," said Special Events Coordinator Emily.

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT)—On Saturday, families came to the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum for a day of tooth-friendly Easter fun. It was the museum's 12th Annual Indoor Tooth-Friendly Egg Hunt. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., people received a reduced admission fee of $3.00. Children could gather eggs in the galleries and exchange them for a goodie bag filled with dentist-approved treats. There were also plenty of crafts and games for the kids to enjoy.

BEECHER, Mich. (WJRT)—Beecher families have been cleaning up and drying out for more than a week after powerful spring storms brought heavy rains and power outages to the area. The combination hit the community hard and many homes were left with several feet of flooding. "I will be moving because neighbors said this has been happening for 50 years," said Beecher resident Michelle Clementz. Clementz lives on Flamingo Drive and says the flooding has been an ongoing problem for many in the community.
