On January 21, 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Acting Chairman Mark T. Uyeda launched an agencywide “Crypto Task Force” dedicated to developing a comprehensive and clear regulatory framework for crypto assets.1 The Task Force will be led by Commissioner Hester Peirce.
