James Gunu, on Monday, April 14, 2025, visited the Ho Teaching Hospital to commiserate with the Regional Physical Education (PE) Coordinator, Mr. Roger Kwaku Tay, and other victims in a road accident at Sokode Tsawenu over the weekend. The accident involved a delegation of Senior High School students en route to Accra for the 2023 National Sports Festival. While several students and officials sustained injuries, authorities confirmed no fatalities.

By Tilda Acorlor The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has begun its nationwide Talent Identification Programme (TIP) in the Volta Region, aimed at unearthing and developing the next generation of football stars to form the base of the various youth national teams. The initiative, which began in Ho on April 1, is designed to spot talents, train Physical Education (PE) teachers and community coaches on fundamental criteria of football, advance ways of scouting and youth development techniques.
