A church in Teddington is reopening its doors to the community this weekend (27 – 29 June). The roof of Sacred Heart Church was badly storm-damaged three years ago, and its churchgoers have had to use its small parish rooms to worship. One Sunday night on the Valentine's weekend of 2022 a mighty storm Eunice became the final straw that cracked roof of Sacred Heart Parish Church in Teddington.

Sunray Community Centre's thriving weekly youth club has received a boost thanks to funding awarded at the South of the Borough Neighbourhood Committee on 12 June. The club is held every Thursday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm and offers a safe, friendly space for young people in school years 7 to 11 to meet, socialise, and take part in activities like football, gaming, pool, and table tennis.
