As the thermometer image reveals, peak door handle temperature reached 54.7 degrees – or more than 130 on the old Fahrenheit scale. This made use of the door handles momentarily and very slightly uncomfortable. A solution was required. I proposed to sit down in front of traffic until global warming stopped and the door handles became less ouchy, but the missus had a better idea: why not buy and install anti-scald door handle protector cushion covers?

From basic searches to its new AI history-correction device, Google is junk. Like Jay Bhattacharya, I pine for a time nearly 20 years ago when Google was a solid go-to:I'm trying to remember the exact year I realized that @Google search had become unusable. 2017? 2018? Certainly useless by 2020, when Google became a propaganda arm of the CDC. Nowadays I use @brave search. It's better than 2024 Google, but I really miss 2005 Google.
