The Dallas Mavericks' surprising trade of Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers last week has created speculation that the Adelson/Dumont family could explore relocating the franchise to Las Vegas if their attempts to legalize gambling in Texas are unsuccessful. The Mavericks have released the following statement in response to that speculation: “The Adelson and Dumont Families have already started and are committed to investing and building in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

These are the results of The Athletic's fifth annual Dallas Mavericks fan survey. We received 2,029 responses, which is enough to turn this into an intriguing, semi-scientific data set from subscribers and more internet-inclined Maverick fans. There are always drawbacks to this survey methodology. Due to the nature of the polling, the respondents almost certainly skew younger than the Mavericks fan base at large.

For the fifth straight year, The Athletic is conducting an annual fan survey for Dallas Mavericks fans and the season that was. You can participate below!I'll publish results of this survey next week alongside analysis of the answers, what they mean and what most stands out from the compiled responses. again, everyone's saying it. dallas loves luka and he loves them back. it'd be a shitty romcom plot except that you could've just Done Nothing and it'd still be what's true. that's what i can't fathom. just let a good thing be good. and yet it looks like this. insane to me.
