    Mexico has presented a plan for the comprehensive expansion of electricity capacities. Read more about what this means for renewables at Table.Briefings. Mexico wants to build new photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 4.67 gigawatts and new wind power projects with a capacity of 2.46 gigawatts by 2030. This is according to the "National Electric System Expansion Plan", which President Claudia Sheinbaum presented last week.
