Founded in 2012, Hot Wheelz is a women centered performance team focused on designing, building, and racing vehicles. If I could say what my North Star is, what my purpose is, it is to utilize pop culture and high quality art to elevate disability narratives or really the story of different, to mainstream discussion. I was born legally blind. I had much better sight when I was younger than I do now, but I do remember when I was about 6 or 7, a social worker came to my parents and said, you know, your daughter is going to need to start using a cane.
