How high is the glass ceiling? Pretty high. It seems that women make almost all the important decisions. Dating aps, do I even need to explain? Raising the kids, again, do I need to explain? In the bedroom, don’t make me explain. Where to go on vacation. You tell me, who decides? Major purchases, maybe I need to explain. For couples, women are almost always consulted and often have the final say. Women actually make the majority of all consumer purchases. The Glass Ceiling.

Tim Knowles·Follow1 min read·--Medium and the news on the web has almost nothing new on most days. I scroll and click and find mostly either trash or repeats. Yeah, the weather changes and markets go up and down but not much else changes. We had an election and after months and months of repetitive coverage and bad prognostications, now we get a raft of post mortum and Monday morning quarterbacking of little interest. Yeah, we have COP 29 or whatever, no real news there.

Tim Knowles·Follow1 min read·--This thought occurred to me some time ago, why not a short piece about it. If the universe originated with the Big Bang, then the universe is only as big as the distance light could travel in the time since the big bang. This there is a limit to the size of the Universe, it is not infinite. In middle school one of my friends and I talked about the universe and what it would be like at the edge of the universe.
