Kirby Lee-Imagn Images We’re just over a week away from the 2025 NFL Draft. It feels a week early this year, but all the better for me! For this weeks’ SB Nation Reacts survey, I’m on the ‘what if’ scenarios. If the Denver Broncos decide to trade in the first round — which do you prefer they do? Vote in our survey here and I’ll back Friday or Saturday with the results. Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL.

Earlier this week I shared FanDuel’s over/under projection for the Denver Broncos and asked you all if you’d take the over or under next season. Honestly, I assumed there would be some of us out there who would see potential for a sophomore slump or regression to the mean. Nope! We all in on Bo Nix, baby! Since we are overwhelmingly positive on next season, I’ll play a little devils advocate.

Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images There are a lot of NFL mock drafts running the circuit and most of them have the Denver Broncos taking North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton in the first round. It has been overwhelmingly in that direction for a running back, but what happens if he goes early? In ESPN’s Mel Kiper’s two-round mock draft last week, he addressed the Broncos’ needs but went about it via a wide receiver in the first round.

Well I know I promised every Wednesday, but that was a bit too aggressive as the needle doesn’t move much week to week or even bi-weekly. However, I like doing these posts so bi-weekly it will be. We’ll drop the NFL mock draft database version 3.0 the week of the 2025 NFL Draft. If you’d like to check back in on all the latest mock drafts, NFL Mock Draft Database is easily the best source for those and I used their site to curate this list below.

Katie Stratman-Imagn Images This time last year, oddmakers dropped a woeful 5.5 win total projection for the Denver Broncos. Thankfully for us fans, the Broncos body slammed that total by nearly double for their first playoff berth in almost a decade. Oh and Bo Nix is legit. Given that reality and that Vegas likes to make money, they significantly upped their win total projection for Denver in 2025.
