The Knicks won on their home floor for the first time in the series and prevented the Pacers from earning the second NBA Finals trip in franchise history. Indiana will try again Saturday night at home.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Tyrese Haliburton had 32 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds without a turnover in a sensational postseason performance to lead the Indiana Pacers past the New York Knicks 130-121 on Tuesday night for a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference finals. With his father, John, back in Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Haliburton carried the Pacers to within a victory of their second trip to the NBA Finals. Game 5 is Thursday in New York.

TACOMA, Wash. -- Former NBA star Shawn Kemp pleaded guilty to an assault charge on Tuesday for shooting at two men inside a vehicle in a Washington state mall parking lot. Kemp, 55, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault in Pierce County Superior Court in Tacoma as part of a plea agreement, according to the county Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The Toyota 4Runner the men were inside and another vehicle were damaged in the March 2023 shooting, but the men were not hurt.

Denver Nuggets point guard Russell Westbrook underwent surgery on his right hand to repair multiple ligament tears, the team announced Tuesday evening. In his World of Westbrook newsletter published Tuesday morning, the veteran point guard said he was set to undergo surgery to fix "two breaks that happened during the season.""I'm grateful for everyone's support all year and I can't wait to be back out there at 100% soon," Westbrook said.
