    Andrew Tate will be surrendered to Britain after he faces trial in Romania, the Government has confirmed. In a letter seen by The Telegraph, Dan Jarvis, the Security Minister, said Tate, 38, and his brother Tristan, 36, would be handed over to the UK following the conclusion of criminal proceedings in eastern Europe. Judges in Romania previously ruled the two men could be sent to the UK after Bedfordshire Police obtained a warrant for their arrest over allegations of rape and human trafficking.

    The Supreme Court will issue a landmark ruling over whether transgender people can be legally defined as their preferred gender. Feminist campaign group For Women Scotland (FWS) has brought the case, arguing that sex-based protections should only apply to people who were born female. The dispute centres on whether or not somebody with a gender recognition certificate (GRC) recognising their gender as female should be treated as a woman under the 2010 Equality Act.
