The campaign sought to collect $10,000 in monetary donations to purchase new toys for the KRGV Cares Closet, which will store toys to give to children staying at the South Texas Health System Children's hospital in Edinburg. While the first week of the campaign has concluded, KRGV Cares will continue accepting donation sot make sure the closet is full of toys for kids for as long as possible.

The KRGV Cares closet campaign is collecting monetary donations to purchase toys, books, clothes and other goods to provide to patients at the South Texas Health System Children’s hospital in Edinburg. The FDA has approved benralizumab (Fasenra) as an add-on maintenance therapy for severe asthma in children aged 6 - 11 years. Benralizumab is a monoclonal antibody that binds to IL-5 receptor alpha on eosinophils, leading to eosinophil depletion. The approval follows the TATE study, which assessed benralizumab's safety profile in 6 - 11 year-olds with severe eosinophilic asthma and demonstrated positive results in terms of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and safety.
