#1 I am struggling to buy a modern TV set that I can watch without headaches/nausea. I can watch my girlfriends tv (Samsung QE55Q6FNA ((2018 model 100Hz)) fine…..in my opinion an amazing sharp picture, so decided to upgrade and buy a new set to replace my ancient Sony Bravia 32 inch. Unfortunately, due to the size and shape of my room I can have a max size of 50inch. It seems that all the newer 4k/HDR sets give me headaches/nausea. (my eyesight is fine….had recent eyetest and work with...

Cret Standard Member #1 Unsure between Hisense 100U7NQTUK (£3000) and TCL 98C805K (£2400)? Hi folks Having done a lot of head scratching around budget and my requirements and TV style preferences I've narrowed a decision down to these two. I know some will suggest the TCL 855 instead of 805 but I can't really stretch to that and do not want to wait until the price of it might happen to decrease really. Hi All, My Sony KD-49XG9005 had died so I need a new bedroom TV. I like the size so looking for no bigger than 50” and max budget is £400. I really haven’t looked about this price and range and now seeing TCL and all sorts of different brands. No gaming, will be mainly watching via a firestick for Netflix, Disney in high definition. Does anyone know what is the most recommended for me to go for? Thanks!

FabRic Novice Member #1 In Italy, Hisense is selling the Hisense 55U7NQ, which I purchased in July. I’m experiencing an issue with DTS:X passthrough via eARC. When playing a Blu-ray with DTS:X Master Audio via my Xbox Series X connected to HDMI 4 (required for 4K at 120Hz for gaming), the TV appears to recognize the DTS:X signal (visible by pressing the “info” button). However, my Samsung HW-Q950A soundbar (which supports DTS, DTS:X, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos, etc.) connected via HDMI...

#1 Hi all, I've ended up down a massive rabbit hole when trying to pick a new TV for the family room. A bit of background, - I've currently got a benq w2700 projector which gives about a 92 inch screen size, it's used for family movie nights and gaming and I've generally been happy with the projector.. Until I saw an advert for a TCL 805 at around £1300! That's when my journey down the rabbit hole began. I've now come to the decision that an 85inch TV would be an upgrade from the projector,...
